The terms below apply to every purchase made through straightjacketart.com.
All sales are final
Every piece is an original, one-of-one work. Once a purchase is complete, it's final. Straight Jacket does not offer returns, exchanges, or refunds. Please review photos, dimensions, and medium carefully before purchasing, and reach out beforehand with any questions about a piece.
Ownership & copyright
Purchasing a piece transfers ownership of the physical artwork only. Jason Garland Jr. retains all copyright, reproduction, and intellectual property rights to the work, including the right to photograph, reproduce, display, and license images of it, unless otherwise agreed to in writing. This applies whether or not a Certificate of Authenticity was issued with the piece.
Certificate of Authenticity & Care Guide
Certificate-eligible pieces automatically receive an artist-issued Certificate of Authenticity and an artwork-specific Care Guide, both emailed with the order confirmation. The certificate is verifiable anytime at straightjacketart.com/verify and confirms the piece's authenticity and provenance. It is not an appraisal. The care guide offers general handling and preservation guidance. It is not a professional conservation assessment. Neither affects the ownership and copyright terms above.
Shipping
Shipping is available domestically within the U.S. and to a number of international destinations, including Canada, the UK, the EU, and Australia, availability and cost depend on the specific piece and destination, and the charge is shown before you pay at checkout. Pittsburgh-area buyers can request hand delivery in person instead. Mention it after checkout. Work is packaged appropriately for its size and materials. Very large pieces may require a shipping quote confirmed directly with the artist rather than an automatic checkout rate. Delivery windows vary by destination and carrier. We don't guarantee a specific delivery date. Once a piece ships, tracking information is sent to the email on file.
Customs, duties & taxes
International orders may be subject to import taxes, VAT, customs duties, or brokerage fees charged by the destination country. These are separate from the shipping charge and are not included in it. They are the buyer's responsibility unless a specific order explicitly states otherwise. Straight Jacket does not control customs processing times or fees and can't predict exactly what a given country will charge.
