How much is enough?

This work is meant to question how much is really enough and what sacrifices are truly worth taking for the idea of progress. Our world is structured around many unique forms of people problems and identities, so much so that we've decided that the only measurable escape from such torment lies in only greater amounts of noise and inputs. Like the slow, steady hums of a neighborhood data center, its presence brings irritation that bites at the skin and breaks through the bone till all that's left is the residue of destruction. The greener has vanished; the trees have been toppled, leaving cold and feathered rust in its wake. How much is truly enough? And who bare the deepest cost?
